Forklift Crankshaft Sensor

The Hall crankshaft position sensor uses the principle of the Hall effect to generate a voltage pulse signal corresponding to the rotation angle of the crankshaft. It uses the trigger blade or wheel teeth to change the magnetic field strength through the Hall element, so that the Hall element generates a pulsed Hall voltage signal. After amplification and shaping, it is the output signal of the crankshaft position sensor.

The crankshaft position sensor is one of the most important sensors in the electronic control system of the engine. It provides a signal to confirm the ignition time (ignition advance angle) and the position of the crankshaft, and is used to detect the upper stop point of the piston, crankshaft angle and engine speed. The structure of the crankshaft position sensor varies with the model, which can be divided into three categories: magnetic pulse type, photoelectric type and Hall type.
