The clutch assembly is composed of flywheel, clutch plate, pressure plate, friction plate, separation fork, separation rod, separation bearing and other components.
The active part and the driven part of the clutch transmit the torque with the help of the friction of the contact surface, so that the two can be separated briefly and then gradually joined. When the clutch pedal is stepped on, the active part is separated from the driven part, and the power transmission is interrupted, so that the engine can be idle, the transmission can be shifted, and the car can be stopped. When the clutch pedal is released, the active part is connected to the driven part, and the power is transmitted and the vehicle is running normally.
